Welcome!

Welcome everyone!  This is my small home I'll be using for my various musings about the state of the WoW economy, some money making tips, links to other places you can find good info, and other various tidbits of info regarding the game.

I've been an MMO economist going on 10 years now.  It all started back in the day of Everquest, and doing business in the West Commonlands tunnel.  Once the Bazaar was added, I really started raking in the money - not only for myself, but also for my guild's bank.  Back then, I made so much platinum, we were able to do monthly lotteries for the guild members to win money (100K plat, or one of 3 25K plat awards), as well as keep stocked up necessary raiding things.  I loved it.  Did a stint in Star War:s Galaxies.  To this day, I still say that SWG has the best crafting system.  The randomness of the materials, their stats at how they affect so many things being made, etc.  I wish more MMOs would add such complexities.

Then, World of Warcraft came around.  I started off small in WoW, and eventually we started selling limited availability items, etc, and made good money doing it.  Took a few years away from the game, came back, and got right back into the swing of things.  I've made over a million gold in WoW now (small change to some of the uber gold makers out there, but still a good amount), and I'd like to use this place to share with you my experiences, things I notice in the market, and maybe a helpful tip or two.
